ABOUT THE ARTIST
Alfonso Remington Giannico (b. 1991) is a printmaker, cartographer, graphic designer, and wine professional based in Brooklyn, New York. Born and raised on the West Coast in Santa Barbara, California until the age of thirteen, he was immersed in equestrian polo and gaucho culture through his father. This influence led his family to immigrate to Argentina for nearly a decade, an experience that deepened his appreciation for landscapes, traditions, and the Spanish and Italian ways of gathering, pasta before a main course and the infinite conversations of sobremesa. His artistic practice, rooted in printmaking and design, explores the interplay of place, culture, terroir, and storytelling most often expressed through the lens of food and wine.
